Source pages

281listed record by record in the source list below

Every price on a page carries its currency and the month we read it. A page states the month of the oldest record it shows, so it never claims a newer check than its oldest figure.

What each record holds

• A pass: the seller, every option with its adult price, any child or youth price with the ages it applies to, the days it stays valid, the number of picks on a choice pass, and each attraction it includes with the booking and one visit terms the seller states.
• An attraction: the adult gate price, any child or youth price with its ages, the age under which children enter free, whether entry is for a set time slot, and the passes that include it.
• Every record: the pages it was read from and the day of each read. A price a page does not publish stays empty and never counts as zero.

Prices and terms are our own reading of those pages. Apart from pass and attraction names, we keep no seller wording on the site: age bands, validity and booking terms appear in our words.

Counts

Cities

Pass prices

The adult price of every pass we compare, in its city's currency: the cheapest and the dearest option. Launch total: 55 passes.

Gaps in the data

• 8 attractions publish no standard adult price: 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Historic Boston Harbor Cruise, View Boston, Franklin Park Zoo, Old Town Trolley Tours Boston, CityView Trolley Tours, New England Aquarium Whale Watch Cruise and Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier. They stay tickable, show price not published and stay out of every total.
• 31 priced attractions publish neither a child price nor an age for free entrance. A child's ticket there shows as not published.
• Where an attraction or a seller does not say whether a booked time slot is needed, we record nothing and show nothing.
• Waiting for a new read: Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier.

How we keep prices current

• We read every pass and gate price again in the first week of January, April, July and October.
• Pass prices get an extra read in mid May and mid November, before the summer and December peaks.
• A seller announcing new prices, or a reader sending a correction, starts a fresh read of that record.

Cities not yet published

We publish a city once it has at least one pass and 12 attractions with a confirmed adult gate price. All 10 cities in our data meet that line today.

Every pass and attraction names the pages it was read from and the day of each read: 281 pages in all, each the seller's, the attraction's, a tourism board's or a government page. The list holds no reseller pages and no data feeds. The full list, record by record, is a plain text file linked below.
