Day 1: Freedom Trail tour, Boston Tea Party Ships and New England Aquarium

Day 1 is history first, then the harbor. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile route past 16 historic sites; the Freedom Trail tour in this plan is a paid tour on the trail with a set start time. The Boston Tea Party Ships also sells timed tickets, so the aquarium takes whatever time is left.

Day 2: Museum of Science and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Day 2 is the two big museums. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is closed on Tuesdays, so this day cannot fall on one.
